About the Clinic - Wind City Physical Therapy
Wind City Physical Therapy offers treatment that is tailored to your situation. Each patient will undergo a detailed analysis of their condition to direct treatment to their individual needs. Our treatments are based on the most current medical evidence.
We are Doctoral trained Physical Therapists and have a range of specialties and a wealth of knowledge. Physical therapy is not a passive treatment and we want to help anyone improve their current physical state, and it is of vital importance that each individual take an active roll in their therapy.
Physical Therapy is a balance of Science and Art. We are experts in the study of human movement and how our daily lives contribute to pain, dysfunction, weakness, compensation and loss of mobility.
Our team is dedicated to promoting, guiding, and demonstrating a healthy and active lifestyle, we have the FIT (Functional Intense Training) program directed towards meeting each individuals weight loss or strength goals beyond just the need for skilled PT.
We always welcome new patients, and the state of Wyoming has direct access, meaning you may not need a physician referral for PT depending on your insurance.
We are proud to offer a few treatment options that are unique to our office, are on the cutting edge of health care and have proven to be very successful in the aide of prevention of surgery, return to lost hobbies and dreams, and all together improvement in general quality of life.
At Wind City Physical Therapy we believe your time is important, therefore you will always work with a licensed physical therapy professional, and have one on one treatment. You can expect your appointment time to be about 45 minutes.

Kathy Blair, PT, DPT, OCS: is the physical therapist owner of Wind City, Hands On and High Country Physical Therapy. She grew up outside of NYC and was an avid varsity runner in high school and in college. She graduated from Ithaca College in 1992 with her Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 from Regis University. She migrated to the West in 1994 and has made her home in Casper since then. She is married to Brent and has 2 fantastic children Aleka and William. She hopes that Aleka's swimming skills will allow them to join triathlons as a team - she desperately needs a swimmer to pull her along! She is dedicated to quality patient care and providing evidenced based treatments that allow her patients to achieve the best outcomes. Her vision and commitment to her patients has allowed her to expand into 6 facilities between Casper, Cheyenne and Laramie.
Kathy is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and works with students from all over the country. She is actively involved in local, state and federal physical therapy issues and legislative agendas and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. In 2004 she was awarded the National State Legislative Leadership Award by the APTA, for her work in attaining direct access in Wyoming.
She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, credentialed McKenzie therapist for treatment of spine disorders, certified in trigger point dry needling and ASTYM techniques, and is the only certified vestibular therapist in Wyoming. She is a lifelong learner and continues to gain new skills to help her patients.
Jessica Baughman, PT, DPT
Originally from Kalispell, Montana, Jessica graduated from Montana State University-Bozeman with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2008. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Husson University in Bangor, Maine in 2011. Jessica has since completed training in trigger point dry needling, SFMA/FMS, and Redcord treatment techniques.
Although she enjoys working with patients of all diagnoses, she has a strong interest in treating headaches and orthopedic injuries and surgeries. She also likes analyzing and correcting dysfunctional movement patterns to alleviate pain and injury, using the principles of SFMA, Redcord, and dry needling. Jessica is able to use these techniques to treat patients in both the Glenrock and Casper clinics. She also spends some time during the week providing in-patient care to patients at Mountain View Regional Hospital.
When not working, Jessica enjoys running, biking, skiing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Tucker. Although, Jessica is a transplant to Wyoming from Montana, she plans to raise a family here in the near future.
Josh Henderson - PT, DPT

Josh received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. He is currently working as one of the physical therapist at Wind City Physical Therapy. Josh specializes in assessing and treating orthopaedics, manual therapy, rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, biomechanical and pathomechanical dysfunctions. With a background of wrestling at the collegiate level, Josh has an accelerated interest in treating various athletes in preventing injuries and returning to sport specifics.
The past year, Josh has been specializing in orthopaedic screening and treating from the International Academy of Orthopaedic Medicine (IAOM). Josh is also currently enrolled to receive his Doctorate of Science (ScD) through Texas Tech University, enhancing his sophistication, efficiency, efficacy, and clinical outcomes in the orthopaedic physical therapy practice.
Haylee Schneider, PT, DPT
Haylee has been a resident of Wyoming since 2001 and is excited for the opportunity to join the Wind City team in Casper. Haylee graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion in 2012. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia in 2016. While in high school, Haylee became interested in physical therapy following an ATV accident, which ultimately led to multiple months of rehabilitation and first-hand experience of what patients may go through. Haylee hopes to provide quality patient care and looks forward to working with as well as learning from future patients.
Outside of clinic life, she enjoys exploring park trails, road cycling, discovering new music, volunteering, and playing piano.
Reim Fehringer, PT, DPT
Reim was born in Northern California, Attended University of California, Davis and graduated with a BS in Physical Education in 1991. She moved to Colorado to go back to school at University of Northern Colorado and graduated with MA in Preventive and Rehabilitative Exercise programs in 1993. Then graduated from Regis University in 1997 with MS in physical therapy. Reim returned to school in 2006 for her doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University.
Reim feels passionate about empowering patients who are currently battling with cancer as well as those who have completed their cancer treatment. She works diligently to aid patients get back to healthy, active lives. Most importantly back to the things they love most. She has focused on Oncology physical therapy for the past 5 years and constantly is seeking out the newest research to help patients achieve their recovery goals.
Reim married a Casper native in 1995, they have 2 kids that keep them very busy with school and after school activities. They and their 1 dog call Casper home due to all the great outdoor activities available. Some of the activities they all enjoy doing are: Mountain biking, hiking, camping in the summers and snow shoeing, Nordic skiing in the winters.
Kraig Barthlama, PTA
Kraig graduated from Morgan Community College in 2002 with his Associates of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist assistant. He moved to Casper in 2008 with his wife Brandy and their 3 children Ryan, Konnor and Kelsey. He enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering to help his kids in sports as well as academic programs like FIRST Lego league. He loves assessing movement patterns and correcting the dysfunctional patterns that can lead to pain and injury. He currently manages our Inpatient PT department at Mountain View Regional Hospital.
Certifications: Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor level 1 and Medical Professional level 3 (TPI CGFI-1, MP-3), Certified FMS trainer, and certified Y-balance test administrator.
Advanced Training: Functional Movement Systems including the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Y-Balance test. Titleist Performance Institute Golf fitness program, Myopain manual trigger point release techniques, Postural Restoration, Kinesio and therapeutic taping, Mulligan Mobilization with movement and Aquatic Therapy.
Member: American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), TPI and FMS. Kraig represented the Wyoming chapter of the APTA (WYPTA) at the 2012 and 2013 APTA National Conferences as the states PTA caucus representative. He remains active at both the state and national levels to help advance PTAs in their profession.
Abbi Morrow, PTA
Abbi graduated from Laramie County Community College in May 2013 with her Associate's of Applied Science: Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She is a Casper native and was eager to return to the community after finishing school. Abbi was a student PTA with us when she was in school and was excited to be given the opportunity to join our team permanently. Abbi still considers herself a new grad and is looking forward to the opportunities for learning and finding her own niche within our clinic.
When Abbi is not in the clinic she enjoys staying active and being outdoors, doing whatever the weather allows. Her passion is downhill skiing and she enjoys traveling to Colorado and Utah following the snow.
Leif Johansson, Exercise Physiologist: Graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2008. He developed his skills working with the Olympic long track speed skaters, University ski teams, U.S. Marines, both high school and middle school athletes. He enjoys working with both those who enjoy exercise and those who are new to exercise.
Leif is currently the director of our Wellness Program and Accelerated Sports Training Program at Wind City PT.
Leif has been a Professional Cross Country Mountain Biker since 2005, and when he is not recovering from being hit by cars, is in training year round for the upcoming season.
