A native of Portland, Oregon, Kira received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Pomona College in Claremont, California, where she developed a love for the outdoors and interest in human movement patterns. Kira then went on to get her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 2016. Kira’s clinical interests include pelvic floor rehabilitation, orthopedic management of acute and chronic pain, rehabilitation of athletes and geriatrics. She has taken advanced coursework with the Herman and Wallace pelvic rehabilitation institute and is certified to perform therapeutic dry needling through Myopain Seminars. On weekends you can find Kira exploring the mountains, rock climbing crags, at ski areas around Wyoming or on the river struggling to catch fish with a fly rod.
