About the Clinic - Wind City Physical Therapy
Wind City Physical Therapy offers treatment that is tailored to your situation. Each patient will undergo a detailed analysis of their condition to direct treatment to their individual needs. Our treatments are based on the most current medical evidence.
We are Doctoral trained Physical Therapists and have a range of specialties and a wealth of knowledge. Physical therapy is not a passive treatment and we want to help anyone improve their current physical state, and it is of vital importance that each individual take an active roll in their therapy.
Physical Therapy is a balance of Science and Art. We are experts in the study of human movement and how our daily lives contribute to pain, dysfunction, weakness, compensation and loss of mobility.
Our team is dedicated to promoting, guiding, and demonstrating a healthy and active lifestyle, we have the FIT (Functional Intense Training) program directed towards meeting each individuals weight loss or strength goals beyond just the need for skilled PT.
We always welcome new patients, and the state of Wyoming has direct access, meaning you may not need a physician referral for PT depending on your insurance.
We are proud to offer a few treatment options that are unique to our office, are on the cutting edge of health care and have proven to be very successful in the aide of prevention of surgery, return to lost hobbies and dreams, and all together improvement in general quality of life.
At Wind City Physical Therapy we believe your time is important, therefore you will always work with a licensed physical therapy professional, and have one on one treatment. You can expect your appointment time to be about 45 minutes.

Kathy Blair, PT, DPT, OCS: is the physical therapist owner of Wind City, Hands On and High Country Physical Therapy. She grew up outside of NYC and was an avid varsity runner in high school and in college and still is active locally with running and cycling events. She graduated from Ithaca College in 1992 with her Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 from Regis University. She migrated to the West in 1994 and has made her home in Casper since then. She is married to Brent and has 2 fantastic children Aleka and William that are very involved in skiing, gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do and music activities. She is dedicated to quality patient care and providing evidenced based treatments that allow her patients to achieve the best outcomes. Her vision and commitment to her patients has allowed her to expand into 5 facilities between Casper, Cheyenne and Laramie.
Kathy is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and works with students from all over the country. She is actively involved in local, state and federal physical therapy issues and legislative agendas and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. In 2004 she was awarded the National State Legislative Leadership Award by the APTA, for her work in attaining direct access in Wyoming.
She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, credentialed McKenzie therapist for treatment of spine disorders, certified in trigger point dry needling and ASTYM techniques, and a certified vestibular therapist. She is a lifelong learner and continues to gain new skills to help her patients.
Jessica Baughman, PT, DPT
Originally from Kalispell, Montana, Jessica graduated from Montana State University-Bozeman with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2008. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Husson University in Bangor, Maine in 2011. Jessica has since completed training in trigger point dry needling, SFMA/FMS, and Redcord treatment techniques.
Although she enjoys working with patients of all diagnoses, she has a strong interest in treating headaches and orthopedic injuries and surgeries. She also likes analyzing and correcting dysfunctional movement patterns to alleviate pain and injury, using the principles of SFMA, Redcord, and dry needling. Jessica is able to use these techniques to treat patients in both the Glenrock and Casper clinics. She also spends some time during the week providing in-patient care to patients at Mountain View Regional Hospital.
When not working, Jessica enjoys running, biking, skiing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Tucker. Although, Jessica is a transplant to Wyoming from Montana, she plans to raise a family here in the near future.

Josh received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. He is currently working as one of the physical therapist at Wind City Physical Therapy. Josh specializes in assessing and treating orthopedics, manual therapy, rehabilitation, concussion management, therapeutic exercise, biomechanical and pathomechanical dysfunctions. With a background of wrestling at the collegiate level, Josh has an accelerated interest in treating various athletes in preventing injuries and returning to sport specifics.
Josh specializes in orthopedic screening and treating from the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM). Josh is also currently enrolled to receive his Doctorate of Science (ScD) through Texas Tech University, enhancing his sophistication, efficiency, efficacy, and clinical outcomes in the orthopedic physical therapy practice. He is also completing a fellowship program for musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Reim Fehringer, PT, DPT
Reim was born in Northern California, Attended University of California, Davis and graduated with a BS in Physical Education in 1991. She moved to Colorado to go back to school at University of Northern Colorado and graduated with MA in Preventive and Rehabilitative Exercise programs in 1993. Then graduated from Regis University in 1997 with MS in physical therapy. Reim returned to school in 2006 for her doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University.
Reim feels passionate about empowering patients who are currently battling with cancer as well as those who have completed their cancer treatment. She works diligently to aid patients get back to healthy, active lives. Most importantly back to the things they love most. She has focused on Oncology physical therapy for the past 5 years and constantly is seeking out the newest research to help patients achieve their recovery goals.
Reim married a Casper native in 1995, they have 2 kids that keep them very busy with school and after school activities. They and their 1 dog call Casper home due to all the great outdoor activities available. Some of the activities they all enjoy doing are: Mountain biking, hiking, camping in the summers and snow shoeing, Nordic skiing in the winters.
Marissa Grow, PT, DPT
Marissa grew up in Imperial, NE. It's a small town in the southwest corner of Nebraska. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 2011 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX in May 2017.
Marissa has always been interested in the medical field, as her dad was a physician. When trying to decide what specific field to pursue she decided on physical therapy because she thought PT sounded like the most fun. She enjoys treating patients experiencing dizziness, have balance issues, or patients that limitations with their spine. Ultimately, Marissa just enjoys treating all patients and assisting them in achieving a better quality of life.
Marissa loves being a part of the Wind City team due to the variety of patient's she can see and there is a new challenge every day. She also shares our passion in regards to giving back to our community.
Marissa recently got married to her husband, Levi. (CONGRATULATIONS MARISSA) When not working Marissa loves to travel, specifically learning about the history of the area, learning about the culture, and trying new foods. She also enjoy swimming, hiking, reading and a good movie.
Kira Donnelly, PT, DPT
A native of Portland, Oregon, Kira received her bachelor's degree in biology from Pomona College in Claremont, California, where she developed a love for the outdoors and interest in human movement patterns. Kira then went on to get her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 2016. Kira's clinical interests include pelvic floor rehabilitation, orthopedic management of acute and chronic pain, rehabilitation of athletes and geriatrics. She has taken advanced coursework with the Herman and Wallace pelvic rehabilitation institute and is certified to perform therapeutic dry needling through Myopain Seminars. On weekends you can find Kira exploring the mountains, rock climbing crags, at ski areas around Wyoming or on the river struggling to catch fish with a fly rod.
Leanne Parks, PT, DPT
Leanne grew up in Cincinnati Ohio, moved to Madison Georgia in 2010 and finally to Casper in 2015. She attended school at Miami University (Ohio) and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in education concentration in athletic training. She then attended the College of Mount St Joseph and graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2007 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008.
Leanne knew she wanted to do more with her career than athletic training. She says "Physical Therapy sort of fell into my lap". It has given her the freedom to be an autonomous practitioner and foster relationships with her patients. Which she feels is a vital component to their success. She enjoys treating a variety of patients, but loves treating shoulders, correcting postural dysfunctions, treating hips, post-operative conditions and pelvic health issues. Leanne enjoys being able to help patients achieve their goals. She finds the most rewarding part of her job is watching patients being able to apply what they have learned so they can manage their condition and get back to their day to day activities.
Leanne joined the Wind City PT team in part due to the collaboration that occurs between all the therapists at the clinic. She says it's unlike any environment she been a part of in the past. Additionally she appreciates how much professional development is encouraged. Allowing her to obtain optimal knowledge, which she can apply with her patients.
When Leanne is not working she enjoys spending time with husband, Adam, and two boys, Caleb and Dylan. She is often found in the mountains camping, hiking or fishing. She also enjoys spending time in her flower beds, repurposing furniture, horseback riding and reading.
Kraig Barthlama, PTA
Kraig graduated from Morgan Community College in 2002 with his Associates of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist assistant. He moved to Casper in 2008 with his wife Brandy and their 3 children Ryan, Konnor and Kelsey. He enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his kids in everything they do. He loves assessing movement patterns and correcting the dysfunctional patterns that can lead to pain and injury. He currently manages our Inpatient PT department at Mountain View Regional Hospital.
Certifications: Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor level 1, Fitness level 2, Junior level 2 and Medical Professional level 3 (TPI CGFI-1, MP-3, F2, J2), Certified FMS trainer,SFMA, FCS, Rockblades and certified Y-balance test administrator.

Abbi Morrow, PTA
Abbi graduated from Laramie County Community College in May of 2013 with her Associate's of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant degree after 3 years of undergraduate work at the University of Wyoming. She is a Casper native and was eager to return to the community after finishing school.
Abbi has successfully completed all of the training through Redcord and has found her passion in getting successful outcomes for her patients by utilizing the Redcord Neurac treatment method. Her other areas of training include Rocktape Functional Movement Techniques Certification in addition to Rocktape Blades advanced training. These combined with other manual therapy techniques and functional movement techniques have allowed Abbi to become a multidisciplinary therapist who enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities.
When Abbi is not in the clinic she enjoys staying active and being outdoors, doing whatever the weather allows/whatever Leif has challenged her to try any given weekend. Her passion is downhill skiing and she enjoys traveling to follow the snow.
Laura Murray, PTA
Laura grew up in Bozeman, MT where she really gained a love of the outdoors. She graduated from Williston State College with a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant in 2008.
Laura's first experience with Physical Therapy was as a patient herself. Through that experience she found that she too wanted a career where she could help people improve their lives. She really enjoys working with and treating patients who are recovering from a stroke, have fascial restrictions, and athletes because these patients truly challenge her as a therapist. Additionally she finds it very rewarding when she can see the difference she has made in her patients' lives.
When Laura isn't in the office she is usually out with her husband, Cody, and her dogs. She likes to spend her time knitting, working out at our local CrossFit gym, cycling, hiking and enjoying all the beauty the outdoors hold.
Leif Johansson, Exercise Physiologist: Graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology in 2008. He developed his skills working with the Olympic long track speed skaters, University ski teams, U.S. Marines, both high school and middle school athletes. He enjoys working with both those who enjoy exercise and those who are new to exercise.
Leif is currently the director of our Wellness Program and Accelerated Sports Training Program at Wind City PT.
Leif has been a Professional Cross Country Mountain Biker since 2005, and when he is not recovering from being hit by cars, is in training year round for the upcoming season.
