Leanne Parks

Leanne grew up in Cincinnati Ohio, moved to Madison Georgia in 2010 and finally to Casper in 2015. She attended school at Miami University (Ohio) and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in education concentration in athletic training. She then attended the College of Mount St Joseph and graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2007 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008.

Leanne knew she wanted to do more with her career than athletic training. She says “Physical Therapy sort of fell into my lap”. It has given her the freedom to be an autonomous practitioner and foster relationships with her patients. Which she feels is a vital component to their success. She enjoys treating a variety of patients, but loves treating shoulders, correcting postural dysfunctions, treating hips, post-operative conditions and pelvic health issues. Leanne enjoys being able to help patients achieve their goals. She finds the most rewarding part of her job is watching patients being able to apply what they have learned so they can manage their condition and get back to their day to day activities.

Leanne joined the Wind City PT team in part due to the collaboration that occurs between all the therapists at the clinic. She says it’s unlike any environment she been a part of in the past. Additionally she appreciates how much professional development is encouraged. Allowing her to obtain optimal knowledge, which she can apply with her patients.

When Leanne is not working she enjoys spending time with husband, Adam, and two boys, Caleb and Dylan. She is often found in the mountains camping, hiking or fishing. She also enjoys spending time in her flower beds, repurposing furniture, horseback riding and reading.
